During the weekend of March 14th and 15th, our house was on the tour of homes for the Marengo Historical Society. The tour of homes occurs every two years and because we bought one of the oldest homes in Demopolis we were asked back in the summer if we would consider being on it. We naively said yes, thinking that all of our house remodel would be completed months before March and really, how big of a deal could it be??? Oh, were we wrong. Two days before the pilgrimage we had one cast iron tub in our guestroom and the other one upside down in our hallway. Needless to say the house all came together at the last minute. Over the weekend we had about 100 people come and tour the home. Most were from around here and others came from as far away as Michigan. Some people toured the home that had friends or family that had lived here so we got to hear stories of the house from long ago. It was a interesting experience. Now that the house is complete, I need to post before and after pictures. It is amazing the transformation.

So fun Meg! Please post befores and afters- I can't wait to see!
You're killing your father Larry
Hi Meg! Congrats on the new baby-to-be!! Let us know when you're heading this way to have him/her. We'd love to come see you in the hospital. We met Joseph, Jared's brother, and his wife, in Chatanooga recently and they were telling us about the fun you were having getting these ready for the parade of homes! Wow! What a task--especially with a 14 month old and one on the way!
Hope you're all well,
:) SB
